Sales Account Manager – Healthcare Diagnostics (North-West Italy)

As our next Sales Account Manager, you will be joining the Healthcare Diagnostics Division (part of Diagnostics & Genomics Group - DGG) within Agilent and developing the activity with both existing and new clients in the public & private sector (private laboratories, hospitals, Academic Universities…) in the North-West of Italy. You will work on a wide portfolio of Healthcare Diagnostics and Clinical solutions, including NGS products, CGH solutions, molecular biology solutions, bio-reagents, software…
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Generating existing and/or new sales for assigned accounts across different industries in your designated territory.
2. Understanding customer needs and identifying solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities.
3. Identifying & recruiting strategic partners to embed and/or resell company products.
4. Promoting and selling products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informing customers of new product introductions.
5. Creating, monitoring, and revising lead generation plans.
6. Developing accounts and maintaining positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
7. Determining and developing approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies.
8. Leading projects requiring coordination with other functions and organizations.
For this role, you would ideally be located in the Milan area and will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in the North-West of Italy, especially in Lombardy and Liguria (a company car will be available to you).
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
1. University Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology…)
2. Significant experience in sales with diagnostics, genomics, and/or clinical solutions
3. Experience working with ImmunoHistoChemistry, HistoChemistry, NGS, CGH/microarray based solutions is a strong advantage.
4. Full fluency in Italian and at least a good level in English.
On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing, and customer-focused. You also have excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to interact with many external and internal partners. You show a real can-do attitude, resilience, and you like to help others. While being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

This job has a full-time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
