You will oversee all aspects of building maintenance and functionality for the brand-new BCG Rome office, working closely with your EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) Operations Director. Your responsibilities will include managing and coordinating the local Operations team as their direct supervisor, overseeing external suppliers (such as cleaning services, logistics support, and maintenance technicians), and ensuring the efficient execution of Operations duties, including reception activities. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — such as Recruiting, Marketing, and others — to ensure the seamless planning and execution of events hosted in the office.You are good at:Managing and supervising all infrastructure-related activities and OPS services for the Rome office, including cleaning, security services, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, furniture, utilities, building improvements, renovations, and general works;Coordinating and leading the local OPS team;Overseeing reception activities and maintaining high-quality front-desk services;Handling relationships with Property and Facilities management;Managing inspections, screenings, quotations, and on-site events involving suppliers or building professionals;Supervising requested building visits (guests, suppliers, international BCG colleagues, etc.);Coordinating internal communications regarding building issues and updates to Rome staff;Supporting in managing all budgeting processes, including preliminary, final, E1, and E2 budgets;Leading special projects related to office operations;Overseeing administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations, including coordination with other corporate departments and consulting teams as required.The role will be focused on the activities listed above, but not limited to them.What You'll BringMinimum of 6/7+ years of relevant experience as an Office Manager, Operations Manager or Facilities manager in an international environment;Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English;Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing creative solutions;Strong negotiation skills to secure and manage optimal suppliers;Sound business judgment with an awareness of potential secondary effects;Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels;Ability to consistently deliver high-quality results, especially under pressure;Excellent people management skills, including the ability to motivate, lead, and develop team members.Who You'll Work WithOur business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively.
