We believe that to best serve our customers in this capacity it’s important to deeply understand Veeva’s products, the industry, and consulting and sales skills.As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Veeva, you will be evangelizing Veeva to pharma companies in Europe. Your responsibilities include marketing plans, generating and qualifying opportunities, collaborating with many internal and external stakeholders, and developing into an expert on Products, Industry Processes, and Culture.This is not a normal sales development role! During the program, you will be responsible for the full sales process and be exposed to continuous opportunities.Lay the foundations for a successful career in sales & accelerate your development at a fast pace!
What You'll Do
1. Gain expertise in consulting, product, industry, and sales to become an industry-leading Account Partner
2. Learn and executive a consultative sales methodology
3. Work within a defined territory to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities
4. Research and develop a plan for breaking into your assigned accounts
5. Partner closely with sales teams to advance and close your opportunities over time
6. Build trusted relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right Veeva products and solutions
7. Rapidly develop your sales skills on the job and through training and events
Requirements
8. 2+ years of professional experience
9. Experience in Sales development in Technology and/or Life Sciences
10. Fluent in Italian, Spanish & English
11. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
12. Team-first mentality with proven success
13. Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative
14. BA or BS Degree (STEM, Economics, Accounting, etc.) with solid academic performance
15. Willingness to travel as needed (~25%)
16. Legally authorized to be employed in Spain or Italy without limitations or restrictions
Nice to Have
17. Experience in Consulting, Customer Success, or Project Management
18. Experience managing a full sales cycle
19. Experience in scientific research or in clinical trials-related topics
