About the Role
The Restaurant and Bar Marketing Manager sets and executes the media / marketing strategy for the restaurant and bar.
In conjugation with the Director of F&B, Commercial Director, and Senior Director of Communications, the Restaurant and Bar Marketing Manager plays an integral role in the development and execution of the annual strategic marketing plan comprised of public relations, social media, and marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives. Through strategic thinking and execution, increase awareness and visibility of the outlets and its food and beverage offerings and team, the Restaurant & Bar Marketing Manager also contributes to driving traffic and revenues. The role may also require the involvement in the SPA marketing strategy, creating and executing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Simultaneously, the Restaurant and Bar Marketing Manager acts as a ‘guardian’ of the conceptual and visual identity of the relevant outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Executes all key Restaurant and Bar Marketing initiatives as defined below
Rollout & Sustainment of F&B Commercial Initiatives
1. Rollout property initiatives to ensure adoption and success
2. Coordination of R&B participation in corporate global campaigns
R&B Expert
3. Develops annual R&B marketing strategy and action plan (per FS Guidelines), co-develop and execute business goals
4. Design and implement innovative programs that increase awareness of R&B, its offerings and dynamic team
5. Support review of outlet positioning, marketing plans, promotional calendars and KPI tracking
6. Leads monthly F&B Marketing Meeting
Digital Marketing
7. Liase with Digital Marketing team on R&B’s digital strategy and ensure marketing funds are distributed accordingly.
8. Leads in R&B digital marketing included but not limited to PPC, SEO/SEM, analytics and digital advertising and e-commerce (as needed) to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all activities
9. Work in conjunction with Social Media team on R&B's social strategy to ensure creation of content for all F&B social media accounts including ideas, execution, agency management, scheduling.
10. Lead creatives and briefing of campaigns & strategy with Social Media team for R&B social media channels
PR
11. Liaise with PR team to ensure proprietary R&B websites are aligned with the R&B’s positioning and business objectives and creative storytelling
12. Oversee R&B online reputation management by monitoring and ensuring appropriate management of third-party review sites
13. Lead creation of Press Releases (brief to copywriters) for PR agencies
14. Liaise with the PR team to plan, develop the public relations strategy for the F&B outlets, such as management and follow-up with PR agency, organizing events, one-on-one interviews with media, KOL’s and key accounts that are potential for the F&B outlets. (Luxury accounts, F&B etc)
Brand/Creative
15. Supervise the overall storytelling and communication strategy for the culinary and social segment: website, online platforms, collateral marketing
16. Lead and oversees any R&B related photo- and videoshoots to ensure all R&B visual assets are in line with the FS brand standards
17. Maintains Hotel’s image library and video banks with related R&B content, and obtain all signed usage rights as needed
18. Develop and preserves brand, visual identity and concept in all elements of the marketing process
19. Project manage each collateral item, including the negotiation of costs, a production timeline and the editing of each draft, and ensure final artwork is signed off by all required signees, prior to distribution
Promotions and Activations
20. Lead outside catering F&B Marketing
Beverage Activations
21. Lead Activations (50 Best Bars, Bar Shows, etc).
Partnership Activations
22. Create culinary and social experiences such as seasonal events and happenings to foster revenue opportunities through customer insights and with F&B team.
23. Build and maintain a close relationship with events intermediaries, organizing happenings that lead to strategic alliances and sales opportunities.
Develop partnership/ sponsorship opportunities
24. Lead marketing planning for partnerships for outlets with key luxury brands.
25. Lead Events organization in/out of the hotel together with Catering/F&B Team
Profit Functions
26. Set and control R&B Marketing Budget and Expenses and is responsible for updating Commercial Director of expenses for forecast purposes
27. Works closely with the F&B Director, Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef to develop strategic annual marketing plans including promotional and marketing activities and calendars to feed relevant owned communication channels to stimulate revenue opportunities
28. Track ROI and present monthly results of marketing efforts (PR, Activities & Events) and expenses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
29. Responsible for processing relevant invoices and purchase orders, and maintain operational expenses for monthly expense management
People Function
30. Maintains positive client and media relations, develop and build strong connection with local/global press and journalists along side the PR team.
31. Plays a key role in reputation management, acting as a strategic communications advisor to management by keeping track of public attitudes, developing key messages and managing potential issues and organize responses in conjunction with PR.
32. Participate in local R&B community and industry events, building a strong rapport city-wide
33. Attend internal meetings for R&B and will be actively involved in maintaining communication and promotional calendars. Leads R&B Marketing Meetings with ops team.
34. Responsible for internal communication and R&B outlets playbook

Schedule & Hours:
This position is based at the hotel and requires flexibility, with the possibility of working varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed. The candidate must have the legal right to work in Italy.
