Wine Sales Director
Responsibilities
* Design and manage new sales strategies to achieve rapid sales growth
* Develop creative sales approaches to meet evolving market demands
* Manage the network of importers and distributors; build strong distributor relationships and explore new opportunities; revamp distributor partnerships and explore alternative distribution strategies
* Ensure that the stated goals, for both domestic and international markets are achieved
* Provide detailed performance reports to the Board
* Inspire and motivate the Sales Team
Requirements
* Proven track record in sales in the wine industry – 5+ years experience
* Proficiency in English and Italian. Fluency in Spanish is a plus
* Negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Experience in managing people
* Experience in reporting and analytics
* A very good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP systems
* Positivity, strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, good organization, problem solving attitude are key factors.
