This role is open in Milan, Luxembourg or Munich.
At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there we need passionate and hard-working people. If you are interested in building innovative systems to protect customer safety at scale while enabling Amazon to build the place where customers can find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.
What does EU Trustworthy Listings do? We ensure that products on Amazon deserve the trust of our customers by ensuring they are safe, compliant, and include all information that matters to them.
Examples:
* We block tobacco (and 20K other illegal product types).
* We remove false claims, e.g., “this pill cures cancer.”
* We set up processes for drivers to ask customers to confirm their age before letting them buy whisky (and any alcoholic beverage, e-cigs, bladed products…).
* We collect test results on toys to ensure they cannot cause damage to a child (and for dietary supplements, appliances that can get into fire, baby transportation…).
* We display on the website the Energy Efficiency Label (and allergens for food, safety warnings for toys…).
What does the Restricted Products team do? We ensure that there are no illegal products on our website. We ensure our products are offered by qualified sellers (e.g., medicines by pharmacists). We also ensure age-restricted products are not delivered to underage customers. We remove illegal claims that can mislead our customers.
Beyond launching new controls, you will be involved in ensuring the effectiveness of our existing control portfolio through continuous improvement initiatives.
We invest in technology to do this at scale.
We create and drive programs to ensure compliance with new safety and compliance regulations.
We make customer trust a competitive advantage.
You will be part of a team that manages complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish and works with internal stakeholders (Legal, Tech, Ops, Business) to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate/report.
