Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews: The average number of interviews is 3 (the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.

Role Description

Being a System Administrator at Amaris Consulting means becoming a technical and functional expert in the IT world, but most importantly, being an ambassador for our company with clients, through:
* Relational skills and listening ability to build trust with our clients and understand their needs.
* Curiosity and willingness to learn, working with over 1,000 clients worldwide and staying updated on new technologies.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage the lifecycle of IT workplace infrastructures and provide help desk support to users.
* Administer and ensure the proper functioning of PCs, mobile devices, printers, and other company technology assets.
* Handle requests for provisioning and deprovisioning of devices, software, and IT accessories.
* Draft and update technical documentation and IT operating procedures.
* Monitor and optimize the lifecycle of workplace devices, including telephony, printers, and video conferencing systems.
* Install and remove software on PCs and mobile devices according to company policies.
* Support the management of IT infrastructures, ensuring efficiency, security, and operational continuity.
* Propose and implement improvements to optimize company IT operations.
Your Profile
* 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.
* Strong knowledge of hardware and software, including servers, networking devices, and storage.
* Advanced skills in software installation and removal on PCs and mobile devices.
* Experience in help desk support, IT ticket management, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to administer IT asset provisioning and management systems.
* Proficiency in operating systems and business applications.
* Must have own transportation and be available to work in a hybrid mode in Milan.
* Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred).
* Fluent in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
