Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing program resources and costs, monitoring project performance, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and organizational policies.The successful Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable development initiatives, pioneering change, and promoting client satisfaction through effective decision-making, emotional intelligence, and forward-thinking strategies.Key AccountabilitiesProgram Resource and Cost Planning: Oversee the identification and coordination of program resource needs, facilitating updates to resource and cost planning documentation in alignment with rolling wave planning and activity adjustments.Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on program updates, resolve conflicts in planning, and maintain coherence across technical, financial, and operational streams.Performance Monitoring and KPI Analysis: Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to monitor project performance, assess adherence to schedules and budgets, and analyze KPIs at both milestone and overall project levels.Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive program reports, including Gantt charts, supplier and order status, milestone tracking, and semiannual progress reviews for internal and client stakeholders.Technical and Programmatic Documentation: Manage the preparation, integration, and final review of biannual programmatic and technical maturity reports, ensuring consistency, quality assurance, and alignment with program goals.Workload and Financial Planning: Coordinate biannual updates to workload forecasts, ensuring accurate labor and resource allocation, and oversee the development of the 5-year Integrated Strategic Business Plan for program cost forecasting.Risk Identification and Mitigation: Collaborate with technical leads to identify deviations from project plans, assess risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate impacts on schedules, costs, and deliverables.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all program artifacts and deliverables meet quality standards, aligning with organizational policies and client expectations, while maintaining rigorous documentation and review processes.EducationMaster’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Management EngineeringQualificationsTo qualify for the Senior Project Manager role, you must hold a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Management Engineering. In addition, you should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience and possess the following qualifications:Extensive Program and Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-year programs, ensuring alignment between technical, financial, and operational objectives.Proficiency in Performance Monitoring and Reporting Tools: Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies for performance tracking and KPI analysis, with expertise in Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, and Matrix.Strong Documentation and Communication Skills: Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and presenting detailed programmatic and technical reports, including Gantt charts, workload forecasts, and long-term cost planning.Expertise in Resource and Financial Planning: Ability to manage resource allocation and financial planning processes, including 5-year strategic business plans and workload forecasts, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.Technical and Programmatic Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of technical and programmatic requirements for project execution, ensuring coherence across deliverables and alignment with strategic objectives.Risk and Issue Management: Skilled in identifying risks and deviations from plans, implementing mitigation strategies, and coordinating corrective actions to maintain project schedules and budgets.Language Proficiency and Multicultural Collaboration: Excellent command of written and spoken English, with extensive experience working in international and multicultural environments.With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
