Role: IT Service Manager – ITIL, ITSM, Data & Digital Solutions, AMS (Application Maintenance Services), Reporting Services, E-Commerce, ServiceNow, SaaS, Change Management – Global FMCG Customer
Location: Milan, Italy – including Remote Working with International Travel
A Global IT Service Manager is required by a prominent international consumer goods group to lead IT Service Management for the business in a standalone role as part of a wider global technology team. You will develop the ITSM and ITIL process for the business globally utilising tools including ServiceNow for this.
The IT Service Manager will be responsible for:
* Oversee and manage IT service delivery to ensure high-quality support and service levels that meet business needs and compliantly in line with ITIL best practices; acting as Critical Incident Manager when needed.
* Set up compliantly Redesign service-related processes and procedures in alignment with the ITIL framework.
* Lead tool selection, design, and implementation of a new corporate ITSM platform owning and managing this platform end to end.
* They will manage all IT services, ensuring adoption by internal teams and service providers.
* Drive service optimization and innovation by leveraging data, AI, and other digital solutions.
* They will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, SLA’s to maintain high service performance of the application management services.
* Oversee vendor and contract management for all outsourced services building long-term relationships with external stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to enhance operational efficiency and reduce reliance on individual expertise.
The IT Service Manager will ideally have the following experience:
* They will come with mid-level experience working in an IT service management and delivery capacity within a global enterprise business with experience implementing best practices with ITSM platforms.
* Proven track record in IT service management, preferably in a global organisation, this would ideally be within the FMCG, Retail or E-Commerce industry.
* An ITIL certification is required for this role.
* Experience working for a consultancy, vendor or service provider as well as for end customers would be a plus.
* Familiarity with a range of technologies and tools would be beneficial including Data, Digital, AI, AMS, ServiceNow and SaaS technologies.
