Join the culinary team of a 5-star luxury hotel situated in the heart of Milan's famous fashion district. As Chef de Partie Pastry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pastry dishes that showcase creativity, freshness, and adherence to established standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure exceptional quality, creativity, and presentation of pastries at all times.
* Assist in preparing, producing, and allocating tasks within the pastry kitchen as assigned by the Executive Chef and Pastry Sous Chef.
* Supervise and delegate tasks to colleagues based on their skill level and knowledge.
* Develop new recipes and presentation ideas for menus, ensuring accuracy and updating them regularly.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, problems, and customer complaints.
* Adhere to hotel cost control policies and procedures to contribute to overall profits.
* Maximize the use of raw materials while minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
* Ensure ambassadors maintain good personal hygiene and adhere to hotel grooming standards.
* Maintain the hotel's property, facilities, kitchen, and surroundings in excellent condition.
* Attend training sessions and meetings as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Identify training needs of junior staff members and provide support.
* Conduct regular checks to ensure food quality and safety during each shift.
