About The Role
Due to continuous growth, our Organic Marketing Team is excited to welcome a motivated Head of SEO to help us align marketing strategies with business goals to drive organizational success.
As a Head of SEO, you'll be responsible for developing, leading and overseeing the execution of a robust SEO strategy across different projects in close collaboration with TL (SEO Strategists) to drive organic growth and visibility, aligning with broader business objectives. This role will require strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to foster cross-departmental collaboration to optimize search performance.
Requirements
* Define (or co-define with TL) and Align SEO Strategy with business goals for all SEO-driven projects
* Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with company goals to maximize organic search visibility and traffic growth with a clear focus on conversion
* Identify opportunities for content optimization, technical SEO improvements, and link-building strategies to achieve business objectives
* Create a roadmap of SEO initiatives, prioritizing projects based on expected impact and ROI
Team Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO TL and Specialists fostering professional growth and ensuring high-performance execution
* Set clear goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide continuous feedback to the team
* Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the SEO team
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Partner with content, project, CRO, product, UX, and development teams to integrate SEO best practices into campaigns, website architecture, and product launches
* Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to align SEO efforts with broader marketing initiatives, driving synergies across paid and organic strategies
Data-driven Decision Making
* Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEO performance, such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI
* Conduct in-depth analysis of SEO data to assess performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies for maximum impact
Budget and Resource Allocation
* Manage the SEO department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI
* Prioritize projects and initiatives based on business objectives and expected outcomes
Industry Trends Monitoring
* Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices
* Ensure the team adapts quickly to algorithm changes and new technologies to maintain and improve rankings
Collaboration with External Agencies and Consultants
* Identify, vet, and establish partnerships with external SEO agencies, consultants, and vendors to support strategic initiatives
* Manage agency relationships, ensuring clear communication, alignment on goals, and effective execution of deliverables
What Will Make You Stand Out From The Crowd
* Minimum of 8+ years of SEO experience, including 5+ years in leadership or managerial roles, overseeing strategy and team performance
* Proven track record of driving significant organic growth through innovative SEO strategies
* Extensive knowledge of technical SEO, content optimization, link-building strategies, and industry tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
