The Department of Accounting at Bocconi University has two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions open commencing in Fall 2025. One position is for a candidate in any area of active accounting research. The second position welcomes candidates working on applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence to accounting. Candidates must hold, or be close to completing, a PhD in Accounting or a closely related field. Successful candidates will demonstrate potential for excellence in accounting research and teaching, and for engagement with faculty colleagues, students, staff, and external constituents. Experienced Assistant Professors are also encouraged to apply.
Teaching is in English – therefore knowledge of Italian is not a prerequisite. Bocconi offers competitive compensation and benefits relative to most top European Schools. Research support and infrastructure are excellent.
