Posizione: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic Blizzard Skis team. The Product Manager will be: Responsible for the editing of the “New Product Briefing” and will consistently overview the related product development process to guarantee the full match with consumer and trade needs; Consistently monitoring the product development to ensure the correct application of the brand values and strategy and to secure the alignment with the Company Direction; Sharing and monitoring the product development to make sure the deadlines related to the time to market, marketing and production needs are respected; Collaborating with the R&D team to ensure the appropriate marginality in alignment with the Company guide lines by a consistent analysis on direct product costs and collection definition; Up to date in terms of technologies, materials, and processes to fulfill Brand and market needs in terms of innovation; Proposing sustainability initiatives in alignment with the Group direction. Key responsibilities: Consistently gather market feedback by creating a compelling and structured communication flow with Int.al Sales Manager, Export Area Manager, Sales and Marketing Managers, Marketing Managers, ambassadors, athletes and reps to collect sell-out data and qualitative feedback from competitors and Tecnica products; Editing, updating, and issuing all the documents associated to each of the collections (.xls .ppt) to deliver always the most accurate information in regards of collection development (skis ranges, skis mapping, ski boot tech chart, etc.); Analyzing competitors, in terms of price positioning, technologies offer, segmentation, performance and design trends; Analyzing internal documents like forecasts and sales reports (by model, category, quantity, price ranges, overall margin, unitary margin, etc.) to facilitate the decision-making process through analytics; Creating the New Graphics briefing document, to present it to the Agency and consistently monitor the execution and manage the screening and validation process through dedicated focus groups; Proposing, researching and supporting the development of any kind of sustainable solutions in relation with the program and in full alignment with the Group sustainability strategy and approach; Travelling and meeting with the sales force to support sell-in and sell-out or in any case to get in touch with the retailers and create that direct Brand/Product relationship; Frequently meeting with and travelling with the Noram product manager to identify the benchmarks among the competitors in relation with the category of product as per the scope of work; Skiboot testing in collaboration with the Group Winter Product Validation responsible person to enhance the experience in ski testing and product development from a performance standpoint; Working together with the Project Leader and the R&D team to monitor product development, costs and to ensure the correct time to market and product execution; Presenting the collection to the sales force, to internal audience, to colleagues and to retailers through the various appointments and events; Collaborating with the marketing teams to define trade and consumer message, to support any kind of content creation, print or digital product documents, as well as the execution of the various trade and consumer events; Participating to trade and consumer shows and events; Attending to some other sport shows and fairs that might be interesting or in any case where we could get inspiration for the future Brand/Product development; Periodically meeting with the CRM Team to be always updated in regards of consumers’ requests and trends; Organizing the appropriate documents and the materials for the Buying Groups meetings, attending and presenting the dedicated sessions during the institutional appointments; Preparing and participating to the relevant product clinics; Getting in touch with possible suppliers of new materials and services that might be useful and interesting for the Brand/Product development; Filing of the various documents through the Company Cloud; Preparing the needed material to support the official product development process (concept, 2D, 3D, Line-up); Consistently updating the BUD in regard of the product and collection development process; Ensure the appropriate “show room” set up and taking the responsibility to manage the related inventory; Setting up the display area associated to the various institutional events; Collaborating with the BLIZZARD skis Product Manager to generate alignment on concepts, segmentation, colors and graphics and to exchange market and consumer information; Identifying possible technology partners, agencies and consultants; Collaborating with controlling department to analyze data and to ensure appropriate CAPEX budget allocation; Working with Legal Office and R&D to validate products and technologies names to avoid infringements. Requisiti: Skis engineering and production technologies knowledge; Skiboots market knowledge (segmentation, competitors, market dynamics, etc.); English language (written and spoken); German language (written and spoken).
