Job Summary
The person we are looking for will be included in the current team of three people, this function will have the task to develop and execute an effective product strategy for the Lobe Blowers technology while ensuring profitable growth and ensure our product range meets the needs of our customers from a technical and commercial perspective. Detailed product definition, business case development, market analysis and technical support, in addition provide pricing structures, sales presentations and Distributor & Sales company support.
Typical Job Accountabilities
1. Manage, sustain and develop current Lobe product range across the Business Line portfolio to ensure targeted grow is being accomplished
2. Developing and executing effective product strategies for Lobe product range within our key markets, providing the required level of competitor analysis, market analysis and application information to identify short-, medium- and long-term business opportunities.
3. Ensuring the products development strategy meets the needs of our customers, whilst maximizing profitability.
4. Supporting the marketing activities and ensure appropriate marketing materials are available to support the strategic growth plans.
5. Managing the existing product portfolio through the product life cycle ensuring appropriate products are made obsolete in a controlled way and that appropriate aftermarket provision is available.
6. Developing and executing effective product strategies within the key markets providing the required level of customer communication, competitor analysis and supporting sales aids
7. Analyzing the current product through the product life cycle. Monitoring costs, profitability, sales volumes, and market share and identifying activities to provide growth.
8. Working with the regional sales structure, ensure we drive sales growth and improved profitability.
Education and Experience
9. Sound educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Technical marketing. A degree or equivalent education would be beneficial.
10. Experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering or relevant sales experience within the Blower, Centrifugal Pumps, Vacuum or Compressor industries.
11. Comfortable working in a fast paced, autonomous, diverse, and evolving work environment.
12. High level of commercial awareness.
13. Ability to solve problems, “can do” attitude and "hands on" approach.
14. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. English required; Italian is a plus.
15. Strong Drive for results and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines & achieve targets.
