Joining VELUX as a Business Developer means tackling exciting challenges. You'll have the chance to shape and expand the aftermarket sales for roof window accessories from the ground up, making a tangible impact on the company's success. You’ll act across different sales channels supporting the existing distribution on actually entering and developing a high potential market. You will report directly to the Sales Manager.
Your Challenges:
1. Data analysis and TAM identification:
o Explore market opportunities and segments.
2. Retail segmentation:
o Classify retailers based on project requirements within existing or new networks.
o Identify retailers offering comprehensive customer services.
3. Sales activities coordination:
o Collaborate on planning and executing business oriented visits by pursuing specific objectives.
o Assist customers in developing sustainable business plans, fostering long-term partnerships.
o Promote and coordinate local co-marketing activities.
4. KPIs monitoring and reporting:
o Continuously monitor KPIs to evaluate sales strategy effectiveness.
o Prepare periodic reports and suggest corrective actions if needed.
5. Internal and external stakeholders collaboration:
o Work alongside customers and VELUX sales and marketing specialists to enhance result oriented collaboration.
6. Visits and support:
o Prepare visits to partner retailers, occasionally accompanying sales representatives.
o Efficiently plan and execute visits in coordination with sales representatives.
7. Regular report:
o Share goals, strategies, and project progress regularly with VELUX Italy Sales Manager and Market Director/CEO (based on functional dependency).
Qualifications:
* Proven business development experience.
* Proficient in data analysis and sales strategy formulation.
* Project management experience.
* Proven strong coordination and communication skills.
* Results-oriented with adaptability to market dynamics.
* Constancy and perseverance on achieving challenging goals.
* Fluency in English is mandatory.
* Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking would be appreciated.
