Technical Sales Specialist (TSS), Life Science Mass Spectrometry

Overview
We are looking for a new colleague to join our EMEA Life Science Mass Spectrometry TSS team. The position can be based anywhere in Italy.

This role strives to enhance our instrument portfolio's revenue growth in Mass Spectrometry, aligning with CMD European Commercial Organization's strategic objectives.
The role
The TSS discovers potential opportunities within this market and customer segment with a view to improving allegiance and sales revenue for Thermo Fisher Scientific. The TSS uncovers the customer’s interest in our products and drives the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition from sample to knowledge. The role interfaces and works in close collaboration with key members of the sales team, CMD Divisional marketing teams, Business Unit marketing, support and technical service groups. Adopt & lives 4I values.
Drives Growth
* Shares the voice of customer towards the Business Unit. Also attends technical collaboration visits to our factory and R&D sites; Supports new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to increase adoption rates and revenue return
* Collaborates with country leads and their sales teams to handle the sales funnel and forecast. Consults key account managers and internal partners to acquire customer forecasts for new and existing business. Develops strategies to achieve sales goals and metrics, including value proposition development.
* Uses Thermo Fisher Scientific’s sales tools to efficiently handle the accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecasting in an accurate and timely manner
* Maintains awareness of competitor and industry activity; Introduces new products and services.
Some activities outside the Italy territory are anticipated.
How will you get here?
Education
M.Sc or equivalent experience in Science or Business based fields
Experience
3 – 5 years of experience working with Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the competence to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audience
Proficient in English
