This position is located at our property Aman Venice, in Italy.
Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and professional commis de cuisine/commis chef to join our team!
Responsibilities:
* Carry out the preparatory work for creating dishes.
* Help prepare dishes so they are ready for guests at the right time.
* Help check food items on delivery and tidy them into cold storage.
* Keep equipment and work spaces clean and tidy.
Qualifications:
* Ideal commis de cuisine candidates should have a culinary degree and/or equivalent experience.
* Must have some practical experience working in a kitchen, ideally in a luxury operation.
* Basic food hygiene as well as health & safety knowledge.
