Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager, you will identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and drive business growth.
You will oversee the operations of all staff in the office supporting the delivery of customer services, facility management, HR, health & safety, information processing systems, quality procedures and processes in liaison with Operations, HR, IT and respective service Departments.
Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Manage, coach and lead the Business Development Team.
* Develop and strengthen existing customer relationships and create new engagements to expand AVASK's market reach.
* Establish strong relationships with key accounts through excellent service and support, commercial and technical competence.
* Provide market, customer and competitor information to the senior leadership team and develop strategies for growing and building the business profitably.
* Maintain regular KPI monitoring and ensure targets are met.
* Sell and advise on all AVASK services.
* Prepare and deliver presentations and produce marketing material with external partners and other service providers.
* Travel and attend networking events, seminars and conferences virtually and in person.
* Think strategically, setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
* Identify cross-selling opportunities across the business.
* Stay up-to-date with trends and changes in the business world and communicate to the team.
* Maintain own knowledge and skills for continuous self-development.
Operations:
* Ensure the company has adequate resources to complete its activities.
* Support staff and liaise with HR as needed.
* Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers.
* Analyse and interpret external and internal data and write reports.
* Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines.
* Ensure premises are properly maintained and cleaned, with adequate fire prevention and security systems in place.
* Manage the procurement of equipment, supplies and services within target budgets.
* Monitor client satisfaction, record and investigate complaints and respond accordingly.
* Assist with internal auditing of systems and processes.
Requirements:
* Educated to Degree level.
* Possess high-level market knowledge.
* Background in direct sales and customer service.
