We’re hiring an E2E System Engineer within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit. He/she will support the E2E System Engineering activities.
Task description:
1. Developing scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing, and mission analysis.
2. Engineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activity.
3. Developing mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
4. Mission Analysis for Satellites Optical Systems.
5. Calibration activities for already operative SAR Systems.
6. Knowledge of the physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
7. End-to-End Verification approach definition and execution.
8. Writing technical documents and project reports.
Personal requirements:
The ideal candidate must hold an Engineering master's degree, preferably with a Ph.D. In addition, a strong propensity for teamwork is required, along with strong analytical and technical skills, problem-solving capability, and solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data. An open-minded attitude towards different cultures in the workplace is essential, and the candidate must adopt a collaborative approach to help find shared solutions.
Language: Fluent in English, spoken and written.
