Sales Director Job Description
As Sales Director, you will report to the Cluster Leader and be responsible for the commercial development of all our product universes.
You will lead the different Sales profiles within the Italian office as part of the SC Europe Sales Force.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the performance linked to the commercial activity.
* Develop and manage the acquisition strategy of new customers within the cluster, with our marketing and programs teams.
* Analyse, evaluate and manage the development of the client portfolio.
* Analyse and evaluate the evolution of the client relationship of the portfolio over the long term based on CRM data.
* Contribute to the analysis of competitive practices and the market.
* Contribute to information monitoring on all the clients entrusted (news, priorities, strategy, etc.).
* Ensure the lead of good practices within its teams.
* Coordinate activities with other key teams (Partners, Start up, Pre-Sales, TAM, Marketing, Comms etc).
Revenue Growth and Optimization:
* Ensure the ROI of commercial actions and the optimization of commercial budgets.
* Optimize revenue and validate financial projections based on identified business potential.
* Report to Management on its activity and the means implemented to achieve revenue targets.
Team Leadership:
* Lead a team with various profiles.
* Recruit the best talents, managing a rapid onboarding process and team integration.
* Define and monitor individual objectives/KPIs and performance.
* Identify necessary training needs and bring the team up to speed.
* Facilitate communication and coordination within the team.
Public Representation:
* Local spokesperson of OVHCloud.
* Media interviews (once trained) within the Tech sector.
* Participate to events/forums etc focused on the Tech sector.
Profile:
A minimum of 10 years' sales experience selling complex IT solutions, Channel/Enterprise; ideally within Cloud/Storage/Managed Services.
Recognized experience in leading a team of different sales profiles.
You have the ability to define and build operational reports as well as recommend the resulting actions and initiatives required to improve/accelerate growth.
You are recognized as being a strong individual contributor and team player, you have proven Enterprise and Channel sales skills with the use of recognized sales models/frameworks.
You have strong ability to repeatedly generate (and close) net new logo Enterprise business.
You are independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment and within an international context.
