Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced eCommerce Specialist to join our team for a maternity leave cover. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of our online store, help optimize the user experience, and contribute to the growth of our digital channel. You will be part of the marketing team, working closely with our sales, product, logistic and customer care departments, to ensure seamless execution and alignment across all touchpoints. Our eCommerce store runs on WooCommerce (WordPress) and is available in Italian, English, and French. Main Activities- Oversee the daily management of the website and eCommerce operations, including resolution of technical issues or bugs- Create, enrich and maintain product pages, ensuring accurate formatting, up-to-date photos, and complete product information- Manage the backend catalog, including creation and maintenance of product categories, attributes, tags, and collections- Coordinate new collection uploads, overseeing temporary assets and approval flows- Design and build landing pages (collections, collaborations, product listings, etc.) in collaboration with the graphic design team- Regularly update and optimize the homepage and key landing pages in line with seasonal campaigns- Write and edit product descriptions and landing page copy in line with the brand’s tone of voice- Coordinate content translations in English and French- Conduct weekly quality checks on content and layouts to ensure consistency and premium presentation- Manage and monitor the Virtual Try-On feature, including code integration and asset coordination, in collaboration with our provider- Resize and optimize images for web, including product shots, headers, and lifestyle visuals- Ensure alignment between the website and cross-functional initiatives (Marketing, CRM, Sales)- Optimize user experience by analyzing and improving filters and internal search functionalities- Monitor key competitors and industry leaders to gather insights and identify opportunities- Support eCommerce KPI reporting and assist in periodic sales analysis Requirements- 1–2 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing roles- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce)- Proficiency with image editing tools (Photoshop or equivalent) for resizing and optimization- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Google Suite (e.g. Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets)- Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Fluent in English, French is considered a plus- A strong eye for quality and sensitivity to luxury branding is highly appreciated Contract DetailsFixed-term contract (maternity leave cover) Place of WorkRome – This role is primarily based on-site at our headquarters, with limited opportunity for remote work.
