Job Description
The Generali Investments Holding Risk Function is currently looking for a new Risk Manager in the Governance and Oversight Risk whose main responsibilities will be:
Support the automation of Risk Oversight activities across 20 different asset managers across the world
Automate and coordinate top global investment and enterprise risks reports and organize material for relevant committees
Enhanced data reporting processes on investment and enterprise risks
Contribute to the automation of onboarding of new Asset Managers from a Risk Management perspective
Support the design, implementation and maintenance of the overall Risk Management Framework
Perform risk oversight of the legal entities within the scope of the Generali Investment Holding, supervising the implementation of the risk management framework and the monitoring and reporting of the legal entities' risk events
Monitor the overall effectiveness of risk management processes on an ongoing basis involving other Risk Management heads in the decision process for the adoption of improvements and best practices
Collaborate closely with the Head of the Risk Management of several Asset Management Companies and Group /GIH BU Function
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance or Quantitative disciplines (or equivalent experience)
Extensive understanding of Financial Markets and Asset Management Industry practices with at least 3-5 years of relevant related experience (Risk Management experience is a plus).
Technical Skills
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and skills in designing data models, developing reports, and integrating multiple data sources to build comprehensive dashboards
Proven experience in developing and implementing automated solutions using Python and VBA, ability to design and develop automated scripts using Python and VBA and integrate them with existing workflows
Strong understanding of SQL concepts and experience writing complex queries, optimizing database performance, and managing large datasets
Working knowledge of R or Matlab for statistical analysis (a plus)
Knowledge of statistical analysis and financial modeling
Familiarity with risk management software and methodologies (e.g. Risk Metrics, Liquidity Metrics)
Automation and Process Improvement
Analyze and identify repetitive tasks and processes suitable for automation
Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases
Document and maintain all developed scripts and processes
Troubleshoot and debug automation issues
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in automation technologies and programming languages

Fluent English, any other languages are a plus
