Senior Sales Leader for Italy
We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth and lead our commercial organization in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to join Brown-Forman, a global spirits company with a rich history of innovation and excellence.
About the Role
This leadership role will be integral to our B-F Italy Leadership Team, driving a unified purpose across the commercial organization. As a team member, you will be a steward of our organization culture, inspiring and motivating our teams and beyond in partnership with HR.
* Lead a talented group of Key Accounts, Field Sales, and Sales Operations experts.
* Contribute significantly to our future strategic direction as a key member of the B-F Italy management team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Championship of Business Development:
* Meet/exceed Commercial objectives of all brands across all channels.
1. Strategic Guidance:
* Provide leadership to the team via strategic analysis, program development, and resource management.
* Communicate company's vision and strategies and manage performance and development of Sales Department team.
2. Organizational Culture and Talent Development (in partnership with HR):
* Act as a role model and lead a diverse and inclusive culture where different perspectives are encouraged and individuals feel connected and valued.
* Support team development by providing opportunities and coaching to the team with ongoing appreciative and constructive feedback.
3. Business Analytics and Insights:
* Improve quality of strategic operating planning via in-depth ongoing analysis of market trends and identification of company's strengths and weaknesses.
* Manage company's sales planning, controlling of discounts spending, and sales results reporting and budgeting requirements and processes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum 10 years of sales experience in leadership positions, ideally in off and on-trade channels, with profound knowledge of the Italian market and trade.
* A proven track record of successfully delivering sales growth in a highly competitive environment.
* Demonstrated ability to develop Sales organizations and build talent pipelines.

This position is a Dirigente level role with a salary of €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience.
