Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will coordinate nationally the commercial actions and the management of product ranges to contribute to the achievement of the company's commercial objectives.
Main tasks and Responsibilities:
* Ensure the development of existing ranges by having regular and effective contacts with suppliers/customers;
* Strengthen supplier relationships to add value to the product range you will be responsible for;
* Be a driving force in seeking out new suppliers and products in order to best meet our customers' needs and be the most competitive in the market;
* Ensure the increase of the gross margin through efficient negotiation with suppliers/customers and the development of a sales strategy in line with market prices;
* Ensure a stock management policy in line with the company's objectives and customers' expectations/needs;
* Promote the visibility of our product ranges on various digital media;
* Support the sales and technical teams in developing sales;
* Ensure the updating of information collected from suppliers and the sales network and ensure its processing and analysis;
* Regularly review product portfolio to define new requirements and actively work for optimal portfolio development;
* Identify and manage suppliers to generate new business opportunities;
* Based on business segmentation, define and share profit strategy with Sales team with respect to specific products/product families and set prices to achieve profit targets;
* Work closely with the Sales Division (including through joint visits to customers), providing sales and technical support, and with the Supply Chain Division to achieve optimal stock management;
* Relating to the Annual Operating Plan, be responsible for product portfolio and target achievement, monitoring results toward targets, implementing actions if necessary;
Requirements:
* Knowledge of the relevant market and raw materials especially Silicones and Water Treatment;
* Previous experience in Product Manager role inside a chemical distribution company;
* Fluent English (written and spoken);
* Considerable interpersonal and communication skills;
* Strong negotiating skills and results-oriented;
* Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to work by priorities;
* Entrepreneurship in managing one's own area;
* Willingness to work with diverse and cross-functional teams;
* Strong motivation, willingness to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness and ability to work in both a local and international context;
* Willingness to travel;
* Knowledge of Office (Excel), SAP, and Salesforce (SFDC) software are a plus.
