Job Summary
The Key Account Manager Wholesale role is responsible for managing strategic clients, building strong long-term relationships with them, guiding business operations, defining and monitoring Joint Business Plans (JBP) with top clients to ensure company results in terms of sales and profitability.
Main Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management and JBP Implementation:
* Develop and maintain long-term solid relationships with a portfolio of strategic clients through networking activities, meetings, visits, presentations, etc.
* Ensure regular presence through store visits.
Needs Analysis and JBP Development:
* Acquire a thorough understanding of needs and expectations for each top client and their final customers.
* Formalize a Joint Business Plan that brings together the interests in a single vision and objectives.
Action Plan Implementation and Coordination:
* Define an action plan to implement and follow up on JBP.
* Coordinate all activities related to JBP, involving and interacting with other departments such as Logistic Partner, Visual, Communication, Marketing, and external partners.
Sales Performance and Profitability Analysis:
* Update and analyze sales performance using sell-out database reports.
* Build action plans based on result analysis.
Service Level Ensurance and Problem Solving:
* Ensure the right service level for top clients as an interface between the client and the company for problem-solving.
* Manage back-office activities.
New Product Launch and Non-EDI Customer Management:
* Present new products to clients and ensure a plan for launch is implemented.
* Migrate and manage Non-EDI customers in the WHS platform.
Market Analysis and Sales Strategy:
* Perform market research and strategic analysis to identify strategic clients among existing or new ones.
* Contribute to the sales planning process and target definition for each top client and area (sales & profitability) with the Country Manager.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of sales experience as a Key Account Manager in FMCG companies.
* Experience in a wholesale selling model.
* Proven experience in Joint Business Planning and conceptual selling.
* Flexibility and ability to be effective in a fast-changing environment.
* Strongly proactive approach and goal-oriented.
* Analytical and time management skills.
* Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
* Fluent in English is mandatory.
