Job Summary
We are partnered with a fast-growing deep-tech company seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, develop new business opportunities, and build strong client relationships in Milan.
Responsibilities
* Lead new sales generation by developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
* Source and close six- and seven-figure new business deals within the assigned territory.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
* Analyze sales performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
* Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with customer needs.
* Deliver advanced solution presentations demonstrating the value of the company's products.
* Coordinate technical support for demos, PoCs, evaluations, and training.
* Develop clear, compelling proposals and value propositions for potential customers.
Required Qualifications
* M.Sc. or degree in sciences, engineering, or a related field.
* 10+ years of business development experience in selling engineering/technology applications.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing high-value deals (€7+ million).
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams across global locations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver customer-focused solutions.
* Fluent in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus).
