At Belmond, we are looking for a Sales Executive to join our Southern Europe Sales Team.
Scope
Act as a Brand Ambassador for Belmond, driving business growth and fostering long-term client relationships. This role focuses on achieving revenue targets for Belmond properties in Italy and Spain by cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining strong connections with key clients, and supporting assigned markets. Success is measured by achieving sales targets, securing new revenue streams, and enhancing the client experience through proactive engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales action plans to meet revenue goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders (e.g., trade advisors, corporate clients, travel agencies, tourism boards).
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in assigned markets.
* Organize sales visits, fam trips, and attend industry events to represent the brand.
* Communicate and promote seasonal offers to maximize property revenue.
* Collaborate with Reservations, Marketing, and Revenue teams to align strategies.
* Analyze market data and performance metrics to optimize sales activities.
* Prepare and submit regular sales reports and maintain a clean client database.
* Support special projects and events as assigned by the Divisional Director of Sales.
Requirements
* Experience of 2+ years in a similar sales role, ideally in luxury hospitality.
* Strong selling skills, results-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented.
* Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tools (e.g., Opera, Oracle, Power BI).
* Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
* Availability to travel for client events and hotel visits.
* Familiarity with B2B and B2C distribution and commercial strategies.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret reports and trends.
