Our Project Logistics team is expanding! Join Kuehne+Nagel, one of the leading international logistics organizations, as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you'll be part of our Project Logistics division, responsible for acquiring and executing contracts for Industrial, Civil, Marine, and Energy projects awarded to international EPC companies.
Your Role
As a member of the Development Department, this role involves identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities through in-depth market analysis. The Business Development Manager acts as a business advisor, focusing on expanding Kuehne+Nagel's market presence, developing competitive proposals to ensure client satisfaction, and managing various administrative tasks.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide customers with advice on technical and commercial topics, leveraging international rules and standards.
* Collaborate locally and globally with the Kuehne+Nagel network to generate new business opportunities.
* Receive and analyse customer requests and needs, providing timely and tailored technical and economic solutions.
* Ensure customer care activities are provided as needed.
* Oversee and manage administrative duties, offering clients insights and consistent support.
* Conduct risk analysis and negotiate contractual responsibilities to prevent any damage or loss for Kuehne+Nagel, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your Skills and Experiences
* 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
* Strong knowledge in EPC Project (Oil and gas, Power and generation, Infrastructure).
* Experience in global environments is a plus.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Fluency in Italian and English (both verbal and written).
