Business Development - Renewables
You will be part of Plenitude Societa Benefit team. In particular, your Pipeline Development team analyzes and proposes new growth opportunities in the renewable energy sector, coordinates and directs the global development team, develops expansion strategies and identifies potential partnership opportunities for growth.
Main activities:
* Supporting the unit manager in developing and maintaining a pipeline of renewable projects in Italy and abroad, through the identification of new initiatives, also in collaboration with other sector operators.
* Aiding the unit manager in identifying and evaluating the potential of new technological, regulatory trends.
* Coordinating the screening process of assigned initiatives through preliminary technical/economic/legal assessment of opportunities and subsequent authorization processes.
* Supporting business units in prioritizing project portfolios.
* Supporting market analysis and competitive context to define business strategies.
* Managing and developing relations with internal and external stakeholders, including development and joint venture partners.
Requirements:
* Degree in economics or engineering field. Alternative qualifications may be considered, including lower-level degrees, following significant experience in the field.
* At least 3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector in similar or analogous activities described above.
* Knowledge of typical development processes for renewable power plants (site control, access to the grid, permitting etc.) and related costs.
* Experience in collaborating with third parties and project acquisition processes (e.g., NDA, LOI, MOU, SPA, co-development agreements, etc.).
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory and authorisation frameworks.
* Good command of the English language.
Additional requirements:
* The ability to speak French and/or Spanish is an additional asset.
