We are hiring an outstanding Export Commercial Director, a visionary and hands-on leader who will drive the company’s global sales and commercial strategy, boost brand positioning, and lead cross-border expansion.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this is a high-impact executive opportunity to shape the future of a brand that defines excellence in the FMCG and food & beverage sectors.
Key Responsibilities - Global Strategy Leadership:
Design and implement tailored go-to-market strategies across international markets to maximize brand penetration, sales performance, and competitive advantage.
- International Market Expansion across Europe:
Identify growth opportunities in both mature and emerging markets;
adapt commercial modelsto local business environments with a data-driven approach.
- Sales & Marketing Synergy:
Lead and align international sales, marketing, and trade marketing teams, ensuring strategic coherence and impactful execution across geographies.
- Retail & Foodservice Excellence:
Oversee key account negotiations and strategic partnerships with major Retail (GDO) and Foodservice players across Europe.
- P&L and Budget Ownership:
Set and manage commercial budgets, pricing policies, and investment plans, ensuring top-line growth and healthy margins.
- Performance Monitoring:
Analyze commercial KPIs and market data to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Product Portfolio Growth:
Champion the full product range, ensuring brand consistency and innovation across global channels.
- Executive Communication:
Clearly articulate and cascade commercial strategy, aligning all stakeholders on shared goals.
Profile and Requirements - Experience:
10+ years in international commercial leadership roles within the FMCG/food industry, ideally in Director, Head of Sales, or VP-level positions in branded companies.
- Retail Expertise:
Proven track record in multi-country sales management, especially in retail distribution (GDO) and/or Foodservice.
- Strategic & Financial Acumen:
Strong P&L management and strategic planning capabilities.
- Leadership Style:
Charismatic, results-driven, and people-focused;
experienced in leading international teams and building high-performance cultures.
- Analytical Mindset:
Confident in interpreting market data and turning insights into commercial action.
- Languages:
Fluent in English (C2 or native level);
additional European languages are a plus.
- Mobility:
Willingness to travel internationally as required by the role.
What’s on Offer - Annual Gross Salary:
€180,000 – €220,000, depending on experience.
