Job Title: Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager
Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager.
This role is responsible for maintaining focus on safety by training, developing, and coaching their team. They deliver a high level of equipment availability by ensuring all preventative maintenance is conducted and internal processes and procedures are followed.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead, support, and mentor the team to ensure they work in a safe, standard, and efficient manner.
2. Work with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
3. Support the Reliability Engineering Manager in implementing, recording, and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment.
4. Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability.
5. E nsure sufficient technical coverage by organizing and directing the training program.
6. Organize local or EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
7. Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles managing people.
2. Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
3. Experience with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
4. Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
5. Experience working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
6. Solid computer skills (MS Office, CAD).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
2. Full working knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within the Fulfillment Center.
3. Experience working with PLC-based control systems.
4. Project Management experience.
5. Knowledge of CMMS programs.
6. Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Process.
