GENERAL ROLE
The Junior IT System Administrator will mainly involve resolving user issues by phone, remote access, and onsite. He/She will deploy new devices, manage active directory accounts, deploy security patches, and create IT procedures for users.
The perimeter covers Italy and Greece for a total of 12 stores, 4 warehouses, and 2 headquarters. As a consequence, travel is required. The role will be based in the Milano Head office.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide an excellent level of support and communication to 350 users across 2 countries and 14 sites.
1. Qualify and resolve user issues in an accurate and timely manner;
2. Configure and deploy new equipment (laptops, desktops, iOS devices, printers, and retail devices);
3. Debugging depending on applications/hardware errors. Testing activities for workaround or problem fixing;
4. Create “how to” guides for common end-users’ issues;
5. IT Security: Monitoring and deployment of security patches on different company assets;
6. Manage Active Directory accounts;
7. Maintain inventory of user devices;
8. Liaise with external suppliers and Headquarter IT teams based in Paris;
9. Conduct IT inductions for newcomers.
PROFILE
1. Bachelor's degree, preferably with an IT focus;
2. Fluency in Italian and English. French will be considered an advantage;
3. Professional background: At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, understanding of IT processes applied to retail is a plus;
4. Good level of experience in user support;
5. Office Support (Microsoft Windows, Office 365 applications, Active Directory);
6. TCP/IP networking/Wi-Fi understanding;
7. iOS devices and MDM Management;
8. Good cybersecurity awareness;
9. Methodical and logical approach, problem-solving skills;
10. Strong organizational skills;
11. “Can do” attitude;
12. Even-tempered with the ability to continuously multitask;
13. Eager to grow;
14. Able to collaborate and adapt to different levels of IT knowledge within the company;
15. Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
