Brunswick Group’s Milan office is seeking an Account Director to join the team and advise top multinational clients on critical financial and/or corporate issues. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of business, finance, and public affairs, helping companies navigate complex challenges and engage with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities As an Account Director, you will: Deliver media, political, regulatory and market analysis to clients, with insight and recommendations informed by data and experience. Manage key client workstreams, guiding more junior colleagues in effectively supporting accounts. Oversee and contribute to the development of high-quality client documents, playing a key role in drafting, proofing, editing and version control. Handle successful relationships with media, opinion makers, influencers and leading personalities. Contribute to elaborate and implementing campaigns. Manage logistics for client meetings and events, ensuring seamless execution. Work to develop a solid understanding of different sectors and specialist offers, and leverage your own specialized skills and backgrounds to identify your future specialization areas. Begin to develop an advisory voice informed by research, experience and awareness of market trends and events. Foster a strong internal and external network, providing valuable insight for the firm and for clients. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Highly knowledgeable in corporate and political issues and current affairs; up to date on international and national trends, key commentators and debates. 3-5 years’ experience working within a consultancy, communications or public affairs firm, supporting clients and teams, OR in-house experience in the communications, public affairs or similar function of a medium-large company in Italy or internationally. Proven project and/or program management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple fast-moving workstreams at any one time. High level of attention to detail and an intellectually rigorous, client-service attitude. Able to demonstrate excellent written research and analysis for business audiences; must be able to synthesize large amounts of intelligence across numerous sources in a timely but thoughtful manner. A dynamic self-starter who prefers to work in a collegiate way with a strong work ethic. Italian and English fluent, any other language is a plus.
