Job Title: Automation & Control System Engineer
Responsibilities:
* Read, analyze, review and mechanize P&IDs.
* Develop and review Block Diagrams, Control Narratives, Sequence Flow Charts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams.
* Populate and maintain Project Control Systems I/Os Databases.
* Interpret and apply codes & standards and customer design requirements for the preparation of Control Systems design products.
* Develop Discipline Specifications and Requisitions.
* Evaluate Specifications and Vendor Quotations.
* Support Packages/Mechanical Systems Department by reviewing suppliers' data and descriptions to determine control and instrumentation functional requirements.
* Review Control Systems Vendor Functional Design Specifications/Drawings/Procedures/Manuals to ensure technical compliance.
* Attend and perform Control Systems FAT/IFAT and SAT, witnessing vendor compliance with project requirements.
* Interact with Client representatives, Vendors, and Subcontractors on technical topics.
* Support proposal efforts in project bids by preparing man-hour estimates and planning activities as required.
QUALIFICATION: Master’s Degree in Automation & Control System Engineer or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: C1/C2
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4-5 years related experience in LNG/Gas Process/Refinery and Petrochemical industries. Past experiences as a Control Systems Engineer with a reputed International EPC Contractor on mid to large scale projects. Detailed knowledge and direct experience with Control and Safety Systems (i.e., DCS, ESD/SIS, F&G, PLCs, MMS, CCS, RTU, SCADA). Familiarity with Control and Safety Systems codes and standards, both domestic and international. SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge.
SOFT SKILLS: Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and in a team.
LOCATION: Milano HO. Availability to travel for short and long periods in Italy and abroad.
