Our Mission:
Retail Business Developer Role
Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing all retail and direct-to-retail activities, events, and Haute Parfumerie/Premium Skincare business development, as well as SPA local coordination and supervision.
Main Responsibilities
* Rinascente: Grow retail performance and market share by proposing detailed action plans and ensuring their perfect execution to reach established targets. Manage BC teams by setting objectives, targets, and guidelines, as well as monitoring performance across all KPIs, including CRM and clienteling.
* Propose innovative Haute Parfumerie/Premium Skincare business development opportunities outside of existing wholesale distribution channels (Pop-Up Stores, exclusive collaborations, DTC/VIP events, B2B gifting).
* Plan and execute engaging events and animations, fostering relationships with VIP clients and external partners.
* Guerlain SPA local coordination: Collaborate closely and serve as the local point of contact for the Guerlain HQ SPA team and our SPA operators in Italy (opening mid-2025). Ensure seamless retail execution, commercial follow-up, and actively work to develop potential synergies, collaborations, and events to maximize brand awareness and premium business potential.
* Optimize sales performance and profitability while maintaining healthy stock levels of Guerlain counters in Department Stores and SPA.
* Participate in defining assortments and forecasts for each network and event.
* Leverage best practices to drive sales and KPI performance.
* Work closely with the Guerlain Retail Analyst to provide detailed weekly/monthly retail performance reports, including market trends and competitors' best practices.
* Identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective action plans.
* Embody Guerlain values and heritage, and monitor service codes and attitudes within the retail network, serving as a brand ambassador for Guerlain VIC and high-potential prospects.
Profile Requirements
* University degree preferably in Business or Economics.
* Proven experience in Sales and/or Retail, showcasing strong commercial and retail skills.
* Highly customer-oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in retail analytics and KPIs, proficient in using various reporting and analysis tools.
* Leadership/People enabler with people coordination expertise.
* Beauty market knowledge will be considered an asset.
* Fluent in English, with French being a plus.
