As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing some of our most important specialist channel customers across North and Central Italy. You’ll combine your strategic mindset with hands-on field sales experience to deliver growth, build
relationships, and strengthen our presence in the market.
The Role
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to manage some of our most important customers from the specialist channel. Your responsibilities and duties encompass the following key areas:
Strategic Growth: Your primary objective is to create a strategy and action plan designed to drive increased sales and profitability in your customers. This involves adeptly communicating and interpreting business opportunities and ensuring our product categories remain at the forefront of the market.
Forecasting approach: Your role includes providing customer forecasts, taking full responsibility for stock forecasts based on product lead times, and offering promotional programs. Constant updates will be necessary when rate of sale or intelligence data indicates a material change to the forecast.
Promotional Investment: Managing promotional investment is critical to maximising return on investment. You'll optimise assess promotional activities, ensure effective management of promotional volume and tailor investment programs to meet specific customer needs.
Collaboration with the whole team: Ensure that our customers receive service of the highest standards. This will involve close collaboration with logistics and customer service departments, as well as the establishment of strong relationships with marketing department to develop together new market opportunities and strategies.
Field Sales Engagement: A key aspect of this role, requiring you to leverage your field sales experience, ideally within the home appliances sector, to connect directly with customers and uncover market opportunities. You will conduct regular visits to clients across North and Central Italy, providing exceptional service and support to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.
About you
You have at least 5 years of experience in sales, including significant field sales experience, ideally within the home appliances sector. A solid foundation in account management and a proven track record of managing key accounts within the specialist channel are essential for this role. Experience in the B2C sector is required, and familiarity with specialist channel customers will set you apart.
Your strong communication and relationship-building skills enable you to establish and nurture effective partnerships with key accounts. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with SAP BW systems for data analysis are critical to ensuring accurate and insightful reporting.
