Job Description:

Within the Satellite Communication (SatCom) LoB, we seek a “Sales Manager” to help drive the business growth on the Maritime market. Your responsibilities will include driving the company growth plan in the assigned segment by developing existing customer portfolio and enlarging Telespazio penetration rate on new potential clients. You will align closely with counterparts in project management and sales engineering departments to lead execution of coordinated go-to-market strategies and sales plays. You will respond to and work closely with the national commercial director who is driving strategic support, global co-programming, and portfolio engagement to help drive top-of-funnel customer acquisition and accelerate sale cycles in the field.
Your customers leverage state-of-the-art technology on fixed and mobile satellite connectivity of Telespazio to provide primary or backup link solutions or added value services driven in collaboration with our partners. You are passionate about sales, negotiation, a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, execute against ambitious goals, and consistently embrace the Telespazio Culture.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Ensure the analysis, identification and strategy setting of commercial prospects and define the commercial plan for the assigned market
2. Accelerate customer acquisition through well-developed sales engagements and successful GTM Strategy
3. Meet or exceed quarterly order intake goal targets
4. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around TPZ services
5. Co-ordinate the offering processes and the teams — on the technical and project management side — supporting them
6. Manage relationships with current and potential Customers on Maritime Market, with a view to maximizing commercial opportunities
7. Ensure collection and systematisation of data and information from intelligence and scouting actions on new sales opportunities
8. Perform market intelligence activity and a continuous scouting on new opportunities and guarantee subsequent internal dissemination of inputs gathered

Basic Qualifications
10. Passion for sales and business negotiation
11. Entrepreneurial mentality
12. 1-5 years of technology/telecommunications related sales or business development experience
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
14. BA/BS degree required
15. Comfortable delivering results amid ambiguity and change
Preferred Qualifications
16. MBA/MA/MS degree
17. Previous expertise on Maritime Market
18. A technical background, like in engineering or computer science
