About the Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and supporting products and services for the ATS' Technology and Products division. You will be a key member of a close-knit team that is responsible for owning and driving the go-to-market strategy, while leading the sales cycle.
Main Responsibilities:
* Customer support from the quotation phase to order placement and in individual cases
* Managing the sales process, including commercial contract negotiations through to order receipt
* Targeted acquisition of new customers according to strategy
* Participation in the preparation of order-related preliminary calculations
* Processing and preparing customer orders for project managers
* Personal support for key customers
* Creation and implementation of product presentations in collaboration with other departments
* Monitoring sales-relevant metrics, analyzing errors and defining and implementing appropriate countermeasures
Requirements:
* Successful completion of a degree in industrial engineering or comparable qualification
* At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
* Ability to communicate business fluently with customers in English and Italian
* Strong communication skills by phone and email
* Very good work ethic and the ability to work independently
* In-depth industry and relevant customer knowledge
* Experience with capital goods projects
* Negotiation skills
* Very good understanding of automation technology
* Knowledge of robotics and automation is a plus
