Director of Sales Opportunity in Rome, Italy
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team in Rome, Italy. As a key member of our hotel's leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our sales strategy and revenue generation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and partners to increase market share.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in both the corporate and leisure sectors.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and packages to attract different customer segments.
* Maintain market intelligence and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
* Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management.
* Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
* Promote the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel.
* Proven experience as a Director of Sales or similar role in the hospitality industry.
* Strong understanding of the Rome market and existing relationships with local businesses and travel agents.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
