Job Title: Channel Business Professional
Description:
We are seeking an experienced channel business professional to take our partner-first strategy to the next level and build our partner ecosystem in Southern Europe.
This team member will work with partners to activate them and drive substantial revenue growth by leveraging strategic alliances, owning planning, activity, enablement, and pipeline growth for the defined area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead regional partner recruitment activities in Southern Europe, focusing on Italy, while supporting Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Malta.
* Develop and execute jointly agreed GTM and Business Plans with distributors and reseller partners.
* Grow revenue and mindshare through executive partner relationships.
* Identify champions to pilot programs, prove success, and incorporate findings into joint GTM approaches.
* Understand partner sales motions and drive success through accurate forecasting and visibility into opportunity development.
* Facilitate sales engagement with channel partners.
* Plan and facilitate sales and technical enablement and training requirements for partner self-sufficiency.
* Contribute to two-tier distribution strategies, including onboarding and development.
* Possess a solid track record working with VARs and SIs.
* Balance day-to-day activities with delivering short-term results and developing long-term strategic relationships.
* Manage Scality resources to support partner missions and sales opportunities.
* Drive sales projects with partners and forecasting in cooperation with local sales managers.
Qualifications:
* Consistent channel management success and 8-10 years of experience in channel management sales, 3+ years in storage channel management.
* Knowledge of the VAR and System Integrator (SI) storage and infrastructure channel in the region.
* High-tech sales cycles understanding.
* Network of connections in channel partners and SIs for speedy recruitment.
* Solid track record working with strategic technological alliances, distributors, VARs, and SIs.
* Passion for supporting channel partners to provide best solutions to customers.
* Recent successful experience working in global, multi-cultural organizational settings.
* Continuous improvement of personal technical and business skills, awareness of new markets, applications, and use cases.
* Experience presenting and working with end-user customers, owning local sales opportunities in Italy with local language.
* Up to 50% travel required. Must be Italian resident, native Italian speaker, and fluent in English, Spanish language is a plus.
