Job Description
We are looking for a Business Developer Salomon (Milano and North of Italy) on a fixed term contract until .. to:
1. Drive sales and promotes the brand to achieve significant sales targets for Salomon
2. Ensure an exceptional consumer experience at his / her assigned accounts and OMNI channel touch points
3. Build partnerships with key specialty sporting goods retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both Salomon and the retailer
You will work in close collaboration with our Market Manager, Area Sales Manager's, Customer Service, Shopper Marketing Manager, Influencer Marketing Manager.
You will report directly to the Market Manager
Main Activities:
4. Sales & DistributionAchieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territoryDevelop a seasonal “game plan” to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and prioritiesBuilds, presents and coordinates seasonal Joint Business / Marketing plans with assigned Premium Partners that deliver on strategic objectives of Salomon and maximizes consumer preference and brand experienceMeet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distributionIdentify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunitiesTake care of all the customer related topics - sales and accounting aspects
5. Sell Thru & Consumer ExperienceEnsures a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge (Shop Pro Training) for store employees in Premium Partner and selected category specialty doors for a best-in-class consumer experienceIncrease and maximize Salomon in-store brand visibility and image thru defined product assortments and seasonal key story packagesManages and executes local consumer activation's / events in Premium Partner Network as requiredCoordinates a seamless sell-thru execution, utilizing internal resources (shopper, customer service, IMM)
6. RelationshipDevelop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each accountDevelop and maintain close cooperation with Salomon ASM communityDevelop and maintain relationship with local sports environment / community (clubs, resorts, event)
7. ReportingPrepare and review customer performance report on seasonal basisAnalyze and report competitor distribution, in-store presence and offerInformation to Market Manager of trade related information on an ongoing basisComplete all reports and records required and submit on a timely basisShares best practice across sales and marketing team
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
8. At least to years of experience in sales with a strong Sporting Goods expertise. Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed.
9. Communication and Presentation skills
10. Sell Through Activation In Store and Events
11. Retail Maths and analytical skills
12. Negotiation and solution-selling, managing objections

Desired Qualifications
16. Education: High school level education minimum / Degree level ideally
17. Languages: Fluent English
18. IT Skills: Microsoft office – strong excel skills, Sales Tools (sales portal, BB, SFA)
