About the Company: for a a company in the luxury travel industry our Recruitment Engineer are looking for a IT Specialist
Core Responsibilities:
* Monitor and mantain onboard computer systems, including servers, workstations and peripherls;
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions;
* collaborate with Accor Tech and external vendors for harware repairs and upgrades;
* Manage the onboard netwotrk infrastructure, ensuring stable connectivity for characters;
* Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches and access point
* Implement security protocols to safeguard sensistive data
* Provide tehcnical syupport to passangers and staff dor IT-related queries;
* Assist with setting up and configuring devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones) for onboard use;
* Conduct training sessions for staff on IT procedures and best pracices;
* Implement data security measures to protect passanger indormation and sensitive data;
* Regularly back up critical systems and data to prevent data loss;
* Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and industry standards;
* Install, update, and mantain software application uses onboard (property, management system, point of sales system, entertainment system, etc.)
* Trobleshoot software issues and coordinate with Accor Tech and vendors for software updates;
* Work closely with other departments (operations, food & beverage, engineering) to ensure smooth operations;
* Align IT Services with onboard services (entertainment, dining)
* Be prepared to address IT emergencies promptly
* Coordinate with relevant personnel to minimize distruptions
Must Have:
* A minimum of 2-4 years proven experience in IT support, preferably in a luxury hospitality or transportation setting;
* Familiarity with reservation systems, point-of-sale software, and onboard entertainment systems;
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making abilities and customer service skills;
* Italian & English essential
Nice to have:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Third language
