YOUR ROLE:
The sales merchandiser has a hybrid role within the shop, combining both sales and merchandising tasks. Their role is to guarantee an optimal customer experience while contributing to the visual and commercial optimisation of the sales area.
YOUR MISSIONS:
Merchandising
1. Operational VM
* Apply and adapt the VM guideline to the point of sale, window display and in-store.
* Keep track of stocks and ensure product restocking.
* Propose a coherent shop floor plan for the outlet.
* Maintain the VM: guarantee the image of the sales outlet in accordance with Zadig & Voltaire standards and ensure the good condition of tools and the conformity of equipment.
* Train and educate sales teams on basic standards.
* Produce qualitative photo reports for the Area VM.
1. VM Analysis / Business
* Business analysis (performance monitoring, KPI's).
* Adapting your VM according to the context (environment, season, clientele, sales operations, weather, etc.).
Sales
* Welcoming and meeting the different needs of a demanding clientele.
* Build customer loyalty by offering tailored, personalised advice.
* Play an active role in developing sales and meeting targets, using sales indicators.
* Master and carry out cash desk procedures and transactions.
* Follow up customer service: returns, repairs, etc.
* Manage stock (receipt of parcels, collection returns, inventories).
PROFIL:
Ideally with a merchandising background, you will have an appetite for sales and successful initial experience in retail. You enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills, which are essential for conveying your ideas. You're creative, have a feel for products and are aware of market trends. Finally, you're detail-oriented and can make suggestions to improve the visual experience at the point of sale.
