Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by engaging Enterprise accounts? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish AWS as a key technology platform provider AND partner? As Enterprise Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in accounts in Italy and support their business growth with different programs. You will also have the opportunity to use your creative and analytical skills to build new processes to gain scale.
The ideal candidate will possess both an account management and technology background that enables her or him to drive an engagement at the executive level as well as with software engineers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.

Key job responsibilities
1. Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory.
2. Define your Territory Plan and execute against it, meeting or exceeding your quarterly targets.
3. Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
4. Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and Amazon.
5. Accelerate customer adoption.
6. Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption of the Digital Native Businesses.
7. Support the team leading cross-territory initiatives to increase our sales effectiveness and scale.
8. Ensure customer satisfaction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
2. Relevant experience in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience in the IT industry, such as in Cloud, SaaS, Analytics, Mobile, or eCommerce.
3. Cross-functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and DNBs).
4. Demonstrable achievement of targets paralleled with continuous advancement in career.
5. Strong verbal and written communication in Italian and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
2. Direct field experience in working with DNBs.
3. Profound insights into the Iberian DNB ecosystem, main market stakeholders, and trends.
4. Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology or technical services deals.
5. AWS Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect Associate certification.
