**Job Title:** Sales Manager Acetyls
The Position
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive commercial success in Italy and for selected European accounts. As part of our growth strategy, you will be part of the Commercial leadership team and responsible for managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and maximizing profitability in your region.
You will play a crucial role in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, business development and customer engagement, ensuring our business remains competitive and aligned with evolving sustainability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Business Development:
o Develop our regional strategy, grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities across your region.
* Contract & Account Management:
o Negotiate supply agreements, oversee contract compliance and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Market & Competitor Analysis:
o Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies and customer applications.
* Financial Performance & Forecasting:
o Deliver accurate sales and pricing forecasts, ensuring profitability and growth.
* Sustainability & Customer Collaboration:
o Work closely with the sustainability team to align with customer needs and market expectations.
Requirements:
* Degree in Business, Chemistry or related field with proven sales experience in the chemical industry.
* Fluency in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus).
* Strong negotiation, contract management and business development skills.
* Ability to understand chemical applications, pricing strategies and market economics.
* Willingness to travel 50-80% to customer sites, manufacturing locations and corporate offices.
Location: The Sales Manager will work remotely out of Italy.
