The Adecco Explora team is seeking a PAYROLL SPECIALIST for a multinational reinsurance company
The figure will be responsible for reporting monthly changes in staff salaries to the employment consultant, the control and approval of the payslips and the collaboration with the financial team for the financing of salaries and the monthly reporting on the Italian and Spanish territory
Direct placement by the company with an initial fixed-term contract of 1 year
RESPONSIBILITY
Once inserted within the payroll team, the figure will take care of:
• Monthly payroll management for the Italian primary market, ensuring accurate, efficient and timely payment of employees
• Act as a point of reference for all payroll applicants
• Maintain accurate records and balances of (personal/annual) leave
• Reconcile and process any allowances and other items associated with international transfers/translocations
• Stay up to date on relevant collective agreements and labour laws and payment practices for the performance of the above tasks
• Identify areas for improvement and work with external payroll service providers to ensure greater efficiency in the payroll process and payroll reporting
• Keep up with changes in legislation regulating the payment of wages and ensure compliance of practices and employment relationships
• Management of the Calculation of the repeatable marginal tax benefits to be recorded in the statement
•Working closely with the local global stock program and on all matters relating to remuneration and taxation for employees who have a long-term incentive plan that must be drawn up through remuneration, including mobile and non-mobile employees
REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma in accountancy or similar and/or degree in economics or management engineering
• Experience of about 3-5 years a similar role, preferably within international or structured contexts
• Strong knowledge of local legislation, collective agreements and payroll policies at the Italian level.
• Knowledge of the English language C1
• Experience in using management software (preferably Workday)
• Knowledge of the office package, especially excel
• Strong attention to detail and result orientation
• Ability to work independently as part of a foreign team
