Webuild is looking for a resource to join the Procurement area as Logistics Buyer in the Milan office. The ideal profile has about 5-7 years of experience in similar roles.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Global Commodity Manager in the procurement strategy for logistics services;
Support and be responsible for the entire Sourcing process, including defining the supplier list in the Vendor List, preparing the request for proposal to be sent to suppliers and managing the commercial and contract negotiation activities;
Ensure compliance with corporate and global supply chain policies;
Analyze, compare and evaluate bids received from suppliers, including ensuring their technical verification by the requesting Corporate Departments/Operational Units. Also, prepare summary tables of final bids and recommendations;
Draft terms and conditions of purchase agreements/orders, with the support of the Legal Department and Contracts Department, also coordinating with requesting Departments;
Support relations with suppliers, in compliance with the Company's Code of Ethics, its Organization, Management and Control Model, pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, and its Anti-Corruption Model;
Support regional supply chain managers and purchasing managers to create procurement plans for business units to maximize efficiency and effectiveness;
Support the Bidding and Start up team during the bidding phase;
Support report analysis activities and identify corrective measures, in consultation with the Global Commodity Manager and Vendor Management, to manage and mitigate critical issues identified during the course of the procurement process.
Requirements:
2. 5-7 years of experience in similar roles and in multinational settings;
Solid experience in managing key logistics stakeholders (including freight forwarders, customs, agencies, etc.) and any type of transportation (e.g., air, sea, road, standard freight, heavy freight, etc.);
Master’s degree in engineering, Economics or Business Management;
Market analysis and benchmarking skills;
Selection, development and management of supply base;
Ability to perform primary cost driver value analysis;
Excellent command of MS Office and SAP MM;
Willingness to travel to job sites and joint ventures;
Fluent English ; Knowledge of other languages will be valued.
