We are growing fast and to support this growth, we seek likeminded and talented people to join our Commercial team, operating remotely from Italy (Milan).
Your role
As a Business Development Representative, you enjoy a diverse role with a strong commercial focus. The primary responsibility you will have in this role is generating new business. Your target customers will be CPOs (Charge Point Operators) and MSPs (Mobility Service Providers) in Italy.
You will manage incoming sales channels, identify promising opportunities, and engage potential customers through industry events, marketing campaigns and e-mail/ calls.
Besides that, you will nurture relationships with customers, exploring cross,- and up-sell opportunities and resolving pressing issues.
This is an independent position with abundant opportunities for personal growth. You will work remotely from Italy, as we do not have an office (yet) in this emerging market.
Your main responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our markets, products and solutions to effectively address customer needs.
* Focus on developing new customer and new initiatives for existing customers, including proactively generating leads by managing incoming sales channels such as industry events, cold calling, email & website.
* Qualify leads on potential value, contact decision-makers and engage conversations to create understanding, and convert qualified leads to fuel the sales pipeline.
* Create appropriate propositions based on sales- and acquisition plans.
* Utilizing CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to manage customer data and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes.
* Gather and share customer feedback to help shape our product development and improve customer satisfaction.
* Effectively share customer feedback and guidance to other staff, including Support, Product Management, and Marketing teams, to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
You recognize yourself in
* Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience
* Strong affinity in – or exposure to the SaaS and/or e-Mobility industry is a plus
* A customer-centric mindset
* Sales and negotiation skills
* Strong communication skills
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
* Strong team player, proactive and willing to go the extra mile
* Fluent in Italian and English
