The Technology Pre-Sales Specialist role at Microsoft Corporation in Rome, Italy is focused on helping customers digitally transform their businesses. This involves assisting the Solution Specialist in qualifying deals, developing strategies, and inspiring CxO/Business Decision Makers/Technical Decision Makers.
You will design solutions, deliver industry-aligned demonstrations to customers, engage partners for co-sell and implementation considerations, and collaborate with engineering and Customer Success Unit for deal support.
Key responsibilities include advancing qualified pipeline revenue by demonstrating solution capabilities, addressing technical proof requirements, and securing customer solution design endorsement. You will also engage with account teams to land solution envisioning sessions and business value assessments, and collaborate with Partners and Customer Success to align on deployment plans and Key Performance Indicators.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in technical pre-sales or consulting, as well as strong communication and presentation skills. You should have a deep understanding of business application solutions, commercial cloud offerings, and the ability to drive and influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
Responsibilities:
* Advance qualified pipeline revenue by demonstrating solution capabilities, addressing technical proof requirements, and securing customer solution design endorsement.
* Engage with account teams to land solution envisioning sessions and business value assessments.
* Proactively deliver compelling customer-centric solution demonstrations based on technical workload expertise while building Business Decision Maker/CxO/Technical Decision Maker connections.
* Address solution architecture considerations and competitive objection handling.
* Assist in formalizing the customer proposal.
* Collaborate with Partners and Customer Success to align on agreed-upon deployment plan and Key Performance Indicators.
Qualifications:
* Experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Solution pre-sales experience for business applications and/or SaaS-based companies.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Deep understanding of business application solutions and commercial cloud offerings.
* Ability to drive and influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
