Global Account Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Global Account Manager to develop and nurture strategic relationships across a portfolio of global clients. The Global Account Manager, in partnership with other members of the account team, leads the development and execution of their global account development strategies and collaborates with clients and stakeholders cross-functionally to generate demand for Insight's solutions and services, embed Insight as the preferred ‘partner of choice’ and advance the maturity of client engagements in accordance with the client value layer model. The Global Account Manager also play a pivotal role in driving new business and owning strategic relationships globally.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Develop key business relationships within the assigned clients and engage through proactive and effective sales activities.
2. Identify opportunities to develop and position Insight’s solution offerings to improve the maturity of business relationships, create hardware and software growth, services revenue growth, generate new lines of business and enhance the value delivered to clients.
3. Be accountable for the achievement of revenue and profit-based targets, also build and maintain accurate reporting of the pipeline, forecast, and activity.
4. Conduct frequent progress reviews against client account plans and proactively put in place corrective measures for plans which are off track.
Skills and experience
5. Considerable consultative and sales experience in technology (software, services) can evidence prior success and overachievement of targets
6. Extensive experience working as a Global Account Manager with international clients and comfortable working on multiple time zones
7. Excellent level of written and spoken English
8. Deep understanding of Insight’s solution offerings and Microsoft technologies
9. Proficient in sales strategy, tactical/strategic account management, planning and forecasting, and pipeline management
10. Extensive client facing sales experience, wins client confidence and delivers demonstrations with professional authority and ease
